What is the Cactus Art Festival?
The Cactus Art Festival is an extension of the "Cactus Project" concept. It carries forward the core philosophy of this long-term initiative—Unfolding · Gathering Strength · Persistent Pursuit. What the festival values is not "polish" or "completeness," but rather the state of becoming, the path, and the evolving rhythm of creation. Artists and art practitioners who learn, create, and grow in a culture away from their own often possess qualities that resist quick, conventional evaluation: Slowness, cyclical momentum, endurance, and a steadfast commitment to their own rhythm. The Cactus Art Festival is a space made for exactly such states of creation.
